Demo: Querying treasury data with Claude
Videos

Illustration of Claude analysing bank fee data in response to the prompt "Where are our highest bank fees coming from?", displaying a horizontal bar chart that breaks down fees by category across two banks.

See how FinanceKey’s MCP Server lets you query live treasury data and take action directly from your AI tool of choice – no switching between systems required.

In this demo, FinanceKey Co-Founder Veikko Koski walks through three real treasury use cases using Claude:

  • Checking regional entity balances with a specific bank
  • Retrieving inbound payment history filtered by counterparty and date range
  • Generating recurring cash flow estimates for an entity across multiple months.

The MCP connector works with the data you already have in FinanceKey – account balances, transaction views, cash flow forecasts – and surfaces it in plain language responses, including breakdowns by entity and totals in reporting currency.

Whether you’re tracking exposures, reconciling payments, or building out your forecast, this is what it looks like when your AI tool has direct access to real-time treasury data.
